Westage Companies is a family business that, for four generations, has helped shape the landscape of each and every community it has touched.
Westage has evolved from its beginnings as a leading developer of office buildings, shopping centers, and residential properties in the Northeast to its current status as a premier healthcare real estate developer in the region. Over the years, Westage has stamped its seal on several commercial projects of significant size, including the development of a 155-acre mixed use complex at the intersection of Interstate 84 and Route 9 in Fishkill, New York. This included approvals of nearly 800,000 square feet of office space, 260 hotel rooms, more than 88,000 square feet of retail space, and an adjacent shopping center with 280,000 square feet of big box retail space.
Over the past 15 years, Westage has shifted its focus to exclusively developing medical office buildings and specialty clinical facilities, such as Ambulatory Surgery and Radiation Oncology. Westage specializes in developing healthcare real estate solutions for hospitals, healthcare systems, physician practices, laboratories, pharmacies and imaging operators.
Today, with 2.8 million square feet of development to its name, a more modern Westage emerges with a broader geographic scope. Its team of seasoned professionals continuously works to navigate the changing tides of healthcare design and regulation. Utilizing the Westage philosophy and skill that has proved successful for decades, it is still able to accommodate healthcare providers and their patients at the most basic of levels — but in a healthcare environment that continues to be politically, socially and financially charged.
